Thank you for downloading the Corner Page Peel Banner by: Florida Host Web, Inc.
This module is based upon JavaScript written by WebPicassa and pagepeel by TemplatePiazza. Neither validated to w3c.org standards, this is why we redeveloped the extension.
Module Description:
This module is native to Joomla! 1.5 and will not work with 1.0.
Displays a advertisement banner from either the core Joomla! banner component or a custom location banner on the top right or top left of your Web site. This module can be published on an unlimited number of pages. This module can be published in any position, preferably in a div tag that isn't inside a table. If this module does not publish in the top-right or top-left most corner of your browser, there is a problem with the position you chose. If this happens, try positioning the banner as-low-as-possible so it is the last item read. If that doesn't work, check our Forum for a fix by adding a new position. If you set up this module to display a banner campaign, when the banner expires it will display the default image selected in the back-end params.

Setup Instructions:
Setting up your banner images:
- Only use .jpg filetypes!
- How to use a flash banner?
- Rename your .swf file to .jpg and the code will read the file, but it will still be animated. We promise this works.
- IMPORTANT FLASH NOTE: Only use simple animations AS2 or lower that do not link to outside files or images. We recommend Flash Player 7, but use whatever you wish. This module is not compatible with flash slideshows or AS3.
- Banner Dimensions:
- Large Banner: 500px X 500px
- Small Peel Banner: 100px X 100px
- Upload Images:
- Either upload images with the Joomla Banner component or upload them with your FTP client to the directory: images/banners/
- All images in the directory: images/banners/ will be a selectable option in the module backend params.
- It is a good idea to give your peel images a prefix name like: peelImage.jpg for example. This makes it easy to distinguish which images are peel images.
- Flash Template Files? Yes, both image and flash templates exist in the following directory:
- Large Banner: modules/fhw-pagepeel/pagepeel_banner/banner-templates
-
- Small Peel Image: module/fhw-pagepeel/pagepeel_banner/banner-templates
