Then select if you want text or image links for the font size selector, select the color of your buttons, then finally publish in the position of your choosing.
Step 1
Download the file from the "Downloads" section of this site.
Step 2
Log in to your Joomla! Administrator Panel.
Step 3
Click on the menu, "Extensions". Select the option, "Install/Uninstall".
Step 4
Under the first tab, "Install" (this should be automatically selected by default), the first box says, "Upload Package File". Upload the file, "mod_fhw-fontadjust.zip". The installer will tell you that it was a successful installation and prompt you with a welcome screen.
Step 5
Click on the top navigation menu, "Extensions" again. Select the option, "Module Manager".
Find the Front-end Font Size Adjuster Module in your Module Manager (under the "type" column the file name is, "mod_fhw-fontadjust"
Step 5
Enable the module by clicking on it and selecting, "Yes" next to enabled. Select, "No" next to, "Show Title". Select your position where you want to display your new module. The positions are controlled by your template PHP and XML files.
Step 6
Setup parameters in the backend module manager. By default, the parameters are set to display Image buttons and the transparent button with black text.
1. Module Class Param: This is optional to enter a class that can style this module from your style sheet. This can be useful if you want to add a border or extra margins directly in your stylesheet. Example, if you enter: fontsizer in the box you would add the following to your css stylesheet: .fontsizer { } If you choose the "Text Option" there are two extra optional class fields that can style the large and the small icons separately in case you want them different sizes.
2. Text/Image Param: Select if you want to display text or image buttons, the default will display image buttons.
3. Button Image Selector Param: Select the color of the buttons from the drop-down menu. The transparent images are .png's (preferred or .gif's so they work with all browsers including early versions of Internet Explorer (IE 6 and earlier have trouble reading .png files, the preferred transparent image file).
Click on "Save" and you're done!
